A handbag for every occasion
The use of handbags has been a trend since ancient times, deeply rooted in art, design, and fashion. Beyond being practical items, handbags are also safekeepers of secrets and dreams—deeply personal inside and out. Women use them as a luxury item to express their identity; a handbag is truly much more than a mere container for objects. In fact, the items hidden within form a fantasy world of their own. Everything a woman carries in her purse reveals a piece of her inner world. Perfume, lipstick, or other makeup are just as essential as keys or money. Carefully chosen, these items tell the unique story of their owner. Handbags have long inspired writers, designers, and artists—not only through their diverse shapes but especially through the secrecy of their contents. This is precisely what makes glass handbags so intriguing: they are transparent, or at least suggest transparency. The observer’s eye is drawn in, lingering until they believe they can glimpse what is inside. It evokes the pure curiosity of a child peering into her mother’s handbag... hoping to find hidden treasures.
